Forgot passcode
Forgot my passcode. I am close to having my phone shut down due to incorrect passcode attempts . I’d like to know does my phone at some point go back to Face ID to unlock iPhone? Someone help . Thanks !

It does not go back to facial recognition. You need to restore it. See here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204306
