How to purchase a song in iTunes? Will only allow subscription.

About to give up...attempting to purchase just one song, or an album in the iTunes app and I am ALWAYS sent back to a subscription only option. Does that mean that the music is not available to purchase?

First, make sure you can enter the iTunes Store. Make sure you have enabled the Preference for "Show -- iTunes Store" as pictured below.


Once you are in the store, find what you want and click its price. For more details, see the buy section of this guide:

Add and download music from Apple Music or buy music from the iTunes Store - Apple Support
