My screen has gone black. The phone is working as it rings when called but after calling support and carrying out a restore still nothing. Cant get a genius appt until next week. Any suggestions on how to get it fixed sooner ??

Hello Benny,
I have read your post and it appears that you may have a hardware issue which should be confirmed through a physical examination of the iPhone. You have already completed a RESTORE however that did not help. I recommend that you make that appointment at the Genius bar.

Sorry no. I think you've already tried all the basic troubleshooting steps for that kind of issue, and unfortunately it sounds like a screen problem.
