I continue to receive an error meesage: "Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 quit unexpectedly" EVERY TIME I close the app, with or without a forced quit. The lag-time in the error message hangs up other open processes. How to prevent/solve the issue of the this erroneous message appearing every time the app is closed? Has performed this way with all OS upgrades. Currently running OS 10.14.6. Photoshop Elements vers. 9.0

Have you gone to the Adobe site to see if there is an upgrade to PSE? Since this is an Adobe application, you should contact Adobe tech support for help or visit the Adobe forums. If they cannot help and there is no upgrade to PSE, then return here and post a new topic providing as much detail about the problem.

Photoshop Elements vers. 9.0 is 10 years old and seriously out-of-date. There have been 9 upgrades since. It's hardly surprising it's not working.
