duration of stills in iMovie
I have 350 photos of wedding. Any opinions... Should I import the photos for the project at 2 or 3 seconds (under Preferences)?

The duration of stills in your slideshow would be a matter of preference. 4 seconds is the usual default for comfortable viewing. They don't all need to be the same duration. Some slides are easy to speed through. Others, like group shots or those with intricate detail, you would want to play longer to give your viewers time to view and process the slide. I would think that 2 seconds might be a little fast unless you are doing a sequence where there is little change from slide to slide, or where there is progressive action.
You might want to import your slides at 4 seconds default duration, and you can then shorten or lengthen them as necessary.
You can change duration of a range of contiguous slides by selecting the entire range, then clicking on the info button (the circle with an "i" in it) in the tool bar in the upper right hand corner of your screen. A little duration box will appear. Type in your new duration and then press the Return key on your keyboard to set the change for the range of slides.
