Activity Monitor is Missing %CPU
My activity monitor does not have an option to view %CPU or any data. In fact, the bar under the CPU/Memory buttons is blank. How can I fix that?

In addition to what dialabrain said: you can pick and choose which columns to show, and in what order.
Control-click to select or deselect columns; click and drag to reorder.

Delete ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.ActivityMonitor.plist then restart Activity Monitor.
Check to see if there's a scroll bar along the bottom. If there is one, move it to the right side of the window. you might find what you're looking for.
