Bluetooth Device Naming
Am I the only one that wishes Apple would allow for naming your Bluetooth devices in your list like Android? After a while many devices become unrecognizable.
iPad 2, iOS 9

Whether or not you can rename your Bluetooth device depends on the manufacturer of the device. Open Settings > Bluetooth with the device connected, tap on the “i” in a circle to the right of the current name of the device and if you can change the name the option will be present.

Thanks for your reply and Good info. If you notice on an Android device there are no restrictions to naming a device. I love Apple products but this feature or the lack of has ****** me off for years.
So on Google Android even if the Bluetooth device manuafacturer included no means to rename their device the Android OS can change the device anyway?
yep. That was true I know a couple versions ago because my wife had an Android device and use to **** me off that she was able to do that.
That would not conform to Bluetooth protocols but Android doesn’t follow a lot of things.
