Can I view my iPhone landscape (yes) or portrait (yes) or portrait upside down? I ask because charge cable plugs in at bottoms and I can’t view in standard portrait as cable gets in the way

What orientation you can view in is dependent on the app. There are some that rotate and some that don't. Being able to view an app in portrait mode with the charging port at the top tends to be a less frequent option. It also has the disadvantage of then causing the cable to be bent back down which is not good for it.
