I am on 1015.3 and trying to update to 10.15.5 but when I click restart, to restarts but does not update
How can I update from 10.15.3 to 10.15.5, as when i select restart it just restarts and does not update

Download and apply the macOS Catalina 10.15.5 Combo Update. If it won't run boot into Safe Mode (How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support) by booting with the Shift key held down and run from there. Be sure you have enough free space on your boot drive for installation. I'd make sure there was at least 25 GB available.
NOTE: Safe Mode boot can take up to 10 minutes as it's doing some system cache cleaning, volume verifying and directory repairing.
