Clearing my ipad of my Apple ID, data, photographs in order to give it to a relative.

I have a 256 gb iPhone 7 Plus (which I will keep) and a 32 gb ipad air which I want to give to a relative. How can I safely erase photos and Apple ID and other data safely only from the ipad WITHOUT damaging data or photographs on my iPhone, which I will keep? Thank you, LCSWPB
