My daughter has locked herself out of her iPhone 6s, how do we reset her password?

You may only reset the passcode if you know the old one. Otherwise, anyone could pick up an iPhone and reset its passcode.

If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support
