How to import from excel to contacts

See the Contacts User Guide about setting up a special Contacts Group before importing a CSV (UTF-8) from Excel into the new contacts group.

I don't have Excel, but do have the Free LibreOffice, it handles MS Office files…

And can Save as... an Excel spreadsheet as... .csv file, & Contacts can import that file.
