 1) Try and Force Restart the phone:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

(2) If the above does not work then please also give your carrier a call to ensure that your account is setup properly at their end.

(3)  If that does not work then Your iPhone 11 is less than one year old and is therefore covered by the Apple 1YR Limited Warranty (US) so have it examined at the Apple Store or at an authorized service center and take advantage of it. If the stores are closed then please contact ➔ Apple Support

Could you get to address this issue with Apple?

For me my iPhone 11 Pro Max Secondary Physical SIM NOT working while Primary(eSIM) is working. This is noticed by me yesterday after recent iOS 13.5.1 upgrade(or earlier)

While trying many troubleshooting steps, when punched *#31# I get “Setting Interrogation Failed caller line identification Restrictions “ message. Essentially when I try to set Caller ID setting it is spinning forever(under Settings-> Phone -> Show My Caller ID -> Secondary).

I think it is probably combination of Carrier and Software Upgrade causing the issue. A Software Upgrade from the Provider May needed I think.

When I pull out the physical SIM and insert it into an Android device it is working perfectly.
