Not to mention that iPads are not modular devices or made for DIY fixes. And if you have Touch ID sensors if it’s not done precisely right you can end up with a non-functional device.

I second Quickpost. Just pay for a professional replacement.

Apple does not repair iPad displays so if you purchase a replacement from Apple then it will be ~60% of its original purchase price. Often it is more cost effective to purchase a new iPad.
