When I send mail the recipient sees the sender in lower case
In my sent column the my name appears in upper case a

I accidentally deleted the icloud mail account while i was trying to correct the original problem
When I reconnected the account all was back to normal.
Should have left well alone

I think that's out of your control & is the Recipients Mail App doing it, it shouldn't matter as a practical note.
