Pages - how to reduce layout break space

Is there a method of reducing or eliminating the space that is introduced when a layout break is inserted. I'm trying to add a two column bulleted list onto a CV in the middle of other text as shown below. How can the space above and below the bulleted list be reduced as is too excessive.

Many Thanks

The following gives you more control over placement, at the expense that it too does not survive export to Word due to Pages translation.

Instead of section breaks, you have more placement control using After Paragraph and placing two columns in a text box. Set text wrap to none on the Text box and your line segments. You can adjust the distance Experience has from the bottom of the Text box by changing the After paragraph setting behind Skill Highlights.

I have used Calibri 16 pt for the headings and 14 pt for the bullet text. There is a 72 pt After Paragraph setting behind Skill Highlights which is the cause of the blue vertical line with show invisibles. You adjust this value to pull or push the distance of the Experience item. When you insert two columns within a Text box, you will not see the column boundaries as you would normally in the document body. Show Layout may help in placement.

You may want to pay attention, if not already, to the after paragraph setting that affects the preceding paragraph distance prior to a column (layout) break.

If your target document format is Word .docx, then don't wait until your document is done before you export to Word and determine if the Pages export translation preserves, or destroys your articulate Pages layout.
