How to backup using time machine on a Bell 2000 hub using a usb external hard drive

Here are the disks you can use as a Time Machine destination.

Based on a quick search, your Bell Home Hub would need to support the Time Machine over SMB specification.

My guess is that it does not support that specification.

You'd have to get a supported device in order to do what you want. The Bell Home Hub doesn't have the requisite networking capability for Time Machine.

If it is just the hard drive that has died, replace it and continue using TC.
