My group messages are being sent individually

I recently had an issue with my iPhone X when I sent a group message it went out individually. Later that day it was back working. Two days later I upgraded to the iPhone 11 Pro Max and now I can’t send or receive group sms messages. The group message has android and iPhone users in it but I’ve never had a problem sending a group message until recently and my boss is going crazy. Please help!!!
