Does the old Yamaha UX16 USB-MIDI INTERFACE work with Mac OS High Sierra?
iMac 21.5", macOS 10.13
Yes. Midi out from a Johannus ONE k/b to the Yamaha UX16 to a USB port on the iMac running Logic X.
The red power light on the Yamaha comes on but no flickering Midi out light when playing the k/b and
of course no response in Logic.

The Johannus does do Midi In, Out and Thru.
I've just tried using a Korg SP 250 piano instead. Still no joy.
Could it be that the Yamaha UX16 is not compatible with
the OS on my iMac, High Sierra aka Mac OS 12?
Ok, well have you definitely got the UX 16 IN cable to the Midi OUT of the Johannus?
I don’t think the Johannus does midi out does it?- check your manual.

It's been a long time since I used MIDI. Anyway that's my excuse.
