Replaced airpods won’t pair

Apple replaced my 2 airpods but now they won’t connect with each other. They connect individual, but not as a pair. And the case keeps blinking.

Hello,

Place both AirPods in their charging case and connect the charging case to its charger. Allow the AirPods to sit for a few hours.
