Is there a way two open two Finder windows with one click, or by default?


Most times when I am opeing the finder window, I need to open two, as that is how I move files around.

Or, while in the Finder just hit Command-N twice. That's pretty easy.

Or hit Command-N then Command-T for a second tab.

You could probably make a short cut but I think that's more trouble than it's worth.

Well don’t be embarrassed. I hadn’t thought of it until you asked. I do the same thing (open 2 windows for the same reason; I just usually have two open. 🙂


You do know about Command- Tab?


Been using Macs since the SE30 and my son taught me that.
