Screen Time not working as expected on iMac

Hi there,

I've recently used the screen time feature on my iMac, and its not working properly as far as i can see. Most of the apps and probably every website i visit on safari says ive reached my limit as if its downtime, though i have specified downtime to be at night. I've tried turning downtime off, screen time off but it wouldn't work - the limit page would still appear.

I've also tried to unlink the screentime on my iMac from the one on my iPhone, and while it seems to work, it first says there "There was an error in Screen Time preferences." closing the screen time window and bringing the limit page back to whatever thing i was on. How can i fix it?
