Thank you very much for your help. My Apple Watch Series 5 was purchased in Chile, a country that has ECG service. But my problem was that I had wrongly understood that the Electrocardiogram app was the ECG app. When I realized that the true app was in already on my Apple Watch, I could proceed without a hitch.

You’ll need to provide more information to get any suggestions. Did you start the ECG app and then place your finger against the crown? If so, what happened then?
