screen time passcode

Help! I forgot the screen time passcode. How can I recover or reset screen time passcode on son's iPhone 6?

You cannot recover it on the iPhone 6. Your only alternative is to restore the device to factory and set it up as new. You cannot use a backup as the backup contains the passcode. From a support document on Restrictions.

If you forgot your Screen Time passcode, update your device to the latest iOS or iPadOS then reset your passcode. If you can’t update your device, erase it and set it up as new to remove the passcode and choose a new one. Restoring your device from a backup won't remove your passcode.

Since the iPhone 6 cannot update to the latest iOS 13, you will have to erase it.
