Unable to verify Account Name or Password

I'm trying to share videos from iMovies on my Macbook Pro (Yosemite OSX) but I couldn't because it wont allow me to add "internet accounts" like Youtube & Facebook. It says:

"Unable to verify Account name or Password" even if I am encoding/copy pasting the right user credentials. It's been like this for several days now.

I hope Apple and FB fix this ASAP as I noticed in the forum that this is a very common glitch. And I haven't found any concrete answer to resolve it. It looks like Apple is quiet about it and resolves it in the back end when they notice you've already been trying for a while. But sad to say, they haven't noticed my attempts yet. Hope they will now.

Hello,

macOS 10.10 Yosemite was released over 5 years ago. YouTube has changed their login system since macOS 10.10 was released. Later versions of macOS adopted the newer YouTube login system. At this point your only option is to export the video from iMovie and then upload the video in Safari on youtube.com.
