Problem with iPad

My iPad was disabled because I couldn’t remember the passcode and used the wrong one too many times . Took it to the apple store and they cleared every thing from the iPad . How can I restart it ?

If you have forgotten your device passcode, you’ll need to follow this process:

https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204306

If, by contrast, you are encountering issues with the Activation Lock, whereby your AppleID and associated passcode are required, this is somewhat different. These Support pages should provide all the information that you should need:

I hope this is helpful in resolving the issue.

If you have a backup of your device you can restore that

Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support

Now that said, doing that will put the passcode back onto your device.

So you may be better served to set it up as new and start over. And when you do set a passcode you may wish to make a note of what that is so you don’t have to experience this again.
