Document missing from Numbers

A Numbers document has gone missing. Can’t find it neither on my computer nor on my iPhone. I tried logging into iCloud and no signs of the document. I tried recents, recently deleted, and nothing ... any ideas how can I find it??

"Recents" is an active list of the last few files you have had opened. Recently deleted shows only files that you have "recently deleted".

Have you tried a Spotlight search?

Click the magnifier at the right end of the menu bar, then type a keyword from the document title into the search box.

You could also try a Spotlight search on ".pages"
