Can I have another browser like Firefox concurrently installed and ready for use while I still use Safari 10.1.2 on my MacBook Pro 13" retina (early 2015 model)

Yes. You should always have more than one browser on your computer—if one fails then you still have a convenient way reaching out to the internet.


In my work flow I always have two browser open at all times, the default and my main working browser.

How do you set one as the default and one that is not? I want to keep the Safari that's my main browser and just have Firefox available because one website I want to work on says my Safari is too old. I don't want to change Safari because I have some older programs that will not work on a new Safari with a newer Mac OS. I'm currently running Sierra
