Setting up email on a new iPad

Hello. I have not been able to set up my email on a new iPad. Please help. Could it be because the same email address was used on the old iPad? If so - what should I do?

It should not make a difference. To use the built in email account, you’d go into the settings, accounts and passwords and set it up


what exactly happens when you try to set up the email?
