My phone will not charge iPhone XR

I been trying to charge my phone but it doesn’t work when I plug it in it doesn’t charge

Have you tried a different USB power source, and a different Lightning cable? Have you inspected the Lightning port on the bottom of the phone for accumulated cruft (clean it with a toothpick)?
