in clips, when I do a retiming... sometimes the transition comes up sometimes it doesn't. how do I control this or force it? see screenshot. 2 retimes. one has a transition - one does not. I usually add these by hitting Shift+B.... but they don't always add a transition.
yes in this case. but i'm trying to find out how to do the transition. I just did a cut there to show the example. I have thousands of situations where I need the retimed transition and it's not there ... and I have no idea how to force it to come up
Thank you. Yes I’m adding a regime slice and wanting to use transitions on contiguous media. But sometimes when I make the cut ... the transition shows only on one side or neither. I don’t understand why it’s not every time on both sides.
Making the cut doesn't add the transition. The time change will add the transition. If only one side has the time changed, then the speed transition is on that side.
the two segments on the right appear to have the same retiming percentage, so it seems that a transition between would be pointless...
What exactly are you doing? Shift-B is the speed blade. If you change one side of the contiguous edit the transition should be automatically be created. It only works on contiguous media.
