When Trying to pair my iPhone 6 Apple Watch 3. I get error message the iPhone software is out of date. When I check the iPhone says I have the most recent version already installed. I’m confused.

If the watch has watchos6 software then it is telling you that the phone software is out of date because the watch requires a phone with ios13 and your iphone 6 will only go up to ios12.If the watch has watchos6 then you need an iphone 6s or higher with ios13 or higher.
