Syncing music

I used to be able to syncs songs from my iTunes library, now it does not. Seems only purchased music came over in the switch to Apple Music. The songs I want are downloaded from discs. I noticed songs in the cloud, but once I disconnected from pc, songs went away

If I'm understanding correctly, you are having some trouble with syncing Apple Music with your iTunes Music Library. I will be glad to assist.


I would recommend checking to make sure that your Sync Library with Apple Music is turned on. Here's how:

First, thanks for the tip. Although it did not solve the problem, it put me on the path. I actually turned OFF the Sync Library. Device asked if I wanted to remove and sync with the device? That is EXACTLY what I want! It said I would lose what was on my iPad, but I knew by turning the sync button back on, I would get everything back. Which I did. PROBLEM SOLVED!!
