is there a way to delete a secure email server?

When our company decided we needed to switch to a new server, I received instructions to install it. But there was also an attachment that automatically downloaded everything. So I put that on my iPad and now, I cannot make any changes that have been required in order to send and receive email, nor can I delete this secure email address. I am able to manually install the new configurations, but it leaves me with 2 work email addresses taking up space, one which I cannot use. My nephew is my IT department in another country and doesn’t seem to understand I guess. There must be a way that I can remove this without his help or help from the actual server?

iPad Pro, iOS 13

My issue has been resolved. We all made it too complicated. A fellow I work with sat down and had it figured out in minutes. You just go to settings, general and profile. If you have an email like this that was downloaded, it will show up with an option to delete that profile. Thank you for your help. I even had Apple on the phone with permission to see my screen and they never thought of that. Thank you for your help though, I really appreciate it.

You description might suggest that a “device profile” has been downloaded and installed on your device - and this “profile” may have (a) installed an MDM (Mobile Device Management) component that “secures” your device in addition to (b) configuring various email settings.

Dependent upon the MDM settings, a full reset of the device might clean-out the profile. Conversely, and very likely, a full reset might not clear the profile and associated device lock-down. In the latter case, you will require the assistance of the MDM platform administrator to unlock your device.

Your iCloud backup will include everything except your email messages - but does include your email settings. Once you backup is restored, your email messages will be recovered from your email provider(s) mail server(s).

Just check that all your Apps are selected to back-up in Settings:

Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Apps Using iCloud - enable all

Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Manage Storage > Backups > [Your iPad name] - enable all
