What if my phone shows " Your software is up to date " IOS 10.3.3 ??

Ok Thank you . I spent 2.5 hours on the phone yesterday with Apple trying to get this question answered. I returned a call to my phone that was from " Apple Inc." And gave them all my info plus plug in my phone to the computer. Now I'm wondering if this would be a way Apple would contact me . Just received that same call saying "my phone has been beached" Press one for further instructions. ???

What should I do now ? I let them enter my computer thinking they were legit , because I had just read about the update that said was needed on iPhone 5 .
