how do i download the photos from I cloud to my computer?

You first have to install iCloud for Windows from:

Once installed, sign in. After this you can configure your iCloud account to allow Photo Streaming in which it will create a dedicated folder on your PC.

Admittedly, it’s been a while since I’ve been able to use iCloud for Windows as I’ve been dealing with a very difficult troubleshoot since Windows 10 released. There may be more to it than this or my terminology may be off now, but start with installing from the link above and it SHOULD be fairly self explanatory.

If you didn’t want to download software, you could also try: https://www.icloud.com from your PCs browser.

Sign in, and click the Photos app, see if that works for you.
