Unable to delete podcasts from Ipod Classic.

I had a 160GB Ipod Classic stolen last month and bought a replacement online from someone in Denmark. Rather than being empty it's arrived with 3GB of podcasts on it, all in Danish, and I can't find a way to delete them from the ipod. The same question has been asked on here back in the day but in most cases there doesn't appear to have been a satisfactory conclusion.

It means I can't use it as a replacment for the lost ipod because I can't sync the just under 148GB of stuff from itunes onto it because of these rogue podcasts. The podcasts are on the ipod, not in itunes, and nothing I do seems to give me the option to delete them.

Any help very much welcome.

Restore the device. This will remove everything from it. You can then add in what you want.
