Did you follow the steps in the vehicle's owner's manual to put the vehicle's radio into discovery/pairing mode? If you don't have the owner's manual, or still have difficulty in getting the device to pair, then make a trip to your local car dealer and ask for help. They should be able to get you the information necessary to troubleshoot pairing of your phone to the car.
forget your car in the car and connect it again.
I ment forget your iphone in the car system and on your phone.
Then in the car search for new devices.
My phone was never paired to this car. All the iPhone does is search for devices.
