My dictation Microphone is stuck on my iPhone 11. Even though I have turned off dictation in keyboard settings.

How do I remove the small blue microphone icon at the upper left of my home screen?

Speech to Text Dictation issue Since upgrading my iPhone 13 to iOS 16.0.2, I’m having a problem with speech to text dictation in ALL apps. I get this icon (pictured) that suggests the mic is off. But I know the mic is working (all is good when recording a Voice Memo and taking on the phone, etc.) but for the life of me cannot figure out why the device thinks the mic is turned off, or how to turn it on. I’ve tried settings>privacy>microphone but to no avail. Any suggestions much appreciated.

Microphone problem with keyboard iPhone 13 Pro Max, keyboard setting has dictation turned off. Every time I try to type, in every app, the microphone picks up conversations and adds them to my text. Help!

Cannot turn off Microphone I have an iPhone X. I have a Bluetooth connected hearing aide. My phone is set to where the microphone is always on. In the upper left hand corner of my screen there is a blue microphone icon. If I am sending a text message there is no microphone icon in the lower right hand corner. This is problematic when I am texting because the phone picks up any and all conversations happening around me. There I have to type in a completely silent room. Again, when sending a text message, There is no microphone icon in the lower right hand corner of the screen (I would normally be able to click this to turn on the microphone and start speech to text dictation then click it to turn off dictation) but this button is not showing. any ideas??? Thanks!

That is not Dictation. That is Voice Control. Go to Settings>Accessibility>Voice Control and turn that off.
