Macbook Air (early 2015) update
Hi,
I'm currently running on OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 and wondering how I can update to a newer version system??
And what software I should actually update it to?

You can upgrade to the current macOS Mojave: How to upgrade to macOS Mojave - Apple Support
or wait until sometime in October and go straight to Catalina: macOS Catalina - Apple
or go to Mojave now and then to Catalina in October if you want.
