Lightning cable malfunctioning

Can i ask for a replacement of my lightning cable? My 1 year warranty on my iphone is not yet over. However i may have exchanged the wires, i dont know if its the wire that comes with the iphone when i bought it. It may be the charger to my other iphone.

Take it in and ask. Make a Genius Bar appointment first.
