IPhone XR camera issue

I recently upgraded to the iPhone XR! I love the phone but I have an issue with FaceTime, as the camera lets in to much light which causes me to look like a big ray of sunshine! Or a very old looking gold guy!!! It’s like it’s not picking up focus! Normally with a selfie you can tap the phone and it will focus but on FaceTime this is not the same. How can this be fixed?

Hello,

1) Restart your phone

2) If you have a case on your phone, remove it and try again

3) See this: If you get an error when trying to activate iMessage or FaceTime

4) If no help, have your phone checked: Find Locations

Good luck.
