How do I fix this. I can log into my App account, but I cannot update Apps. This message comes up. I have not put my password incorrectly at any stage. This comes up on my iPhone 5S and ipad when I try and update Apps

Don’t try to fix this yourself because you can’t. You need to contact Apple as stated in here.
