I'm looking for some sort of software that can have my current built-in webcam being shown in a small, moveable box (not recording) similar to how YouTubers do it. I've seen something like it before so if someone can give me a download link or the name of the software that would be great.

Have tried with QuickTime?
Choose New Movie Recording, select as camera input your webcam (drop menu close to the recorder button) and a window should appear with the webcam preview.
Since you're not interested in recording, simply leave the window open, move it around and scale it as needed
