If Deggie’snReply Reply is Unsuccessful:
Create a Voice Message and Replay It
Troubleshoot this, by creating a Voice Message, and then replay it to yourself. Delete it, once replayed, that was nothing is lost. Whether or not you hear this, there is a most certainly a but in the iOS software.
So, the run MalwareBytes found in the App Store. Report back what is found. If nothing is found, take it in to your local store, and have it looked at.
I don't want my device acting in a malicious manner. And that is just what malware is. It would suspect that if one were to eavesdrop, then it would be kept enabled. Elsewise, the microphone would be kept disabled to restrict one from communicating.
Try restarting your iPhone.
Running malwarebytes is a complete waste of their time, there is no malware out there that causes microphones to fail.
Malwarebytes on the iPhone can't scan the phone for malware. And there is no such malware currently in existence. And none o this has anything to do with the OPs problem.
