I need to install microsoft office for my MAC pro version yosemite 10.10.5,but cannot do as it asked for version 10.12..0 or later,what should I do?
Check the computer requirements shown in each link to see if your computer is capable of running that OS version.

Check to make sure your applications are compatible.

Also check to make sure there is a compatible driver for your printer.
Do a backup before installing, preferable 2 backups on 2 different drives.
If your other 3rd party software is compatible with a later version of macOS, and your Mac is capable of running something later, you will have to upgrade the version of macOS you're running if you want to run MS Office. There is no way around that requirement other than choosing an alternative to Office that runs on what you have.
I love my 10.10.5 MBP and will never upgrade... that is unless it spontaneously gets engulfed in a ball of fire?!?
With that being said, unsure what your issue is because I am running Office at the moment with zero issues. Make sure you have an install that allows for cross-platform installs - e.g. older versions.
