I had an iphone stolen overseas, and I got a text saying it was found.

I had my iPhone XS stolen overseas in April. I got a text today saying my lost iPhone was found, but it seems super weird, as I disconnected my apple ID from that phone the same day it was stolen.

The message came from a UK number:

Your lost iPhone XS 256 GB Gold has been detected online.

Link above is pure scam and is not Official Apple domain...main domain is extent(dot).mobi and than "com" is a subdomain and "apple" is sub-sub domain...in conclusion is pure scam !!!!

Thank you for sharing this link to us, so we can avoid it in the future.
