Unsolicited Apple Phone Calls

I am getting phone calls from "Apple Support Group" requesting that I call 1-***9231. I am leery of the phone call and caller. Is this legit? I have an Apple iPad mini.

It is a scam. Apple doesn't make unsolicited calls.
