Microphone issues during calls

When I make calls on my iPhone 8, my microphone consistently stops working. No matter who I ring, everyone has complained about having difficulties hearing me or not hearing me at all. I have tested my microphone through voice memos, it works fine, its only during calls this issue is occurring. I have also downloaded all new updates and cleaned my microphones thoroughly as these were solutions to similar questions asked on here.

Any help would be much appreciated as I am quickly losing my patience with this phone.
