iPhone package

Good morning.

I have a somewhat paranoid question and I would appreciate it if you could clarify it for me.

I bought a new iPhone 15 online from the website of a large, reputable retailer in Portugal (Worten brand, practically available in all shopping malls).

When I went to pick up the order at the store, I noticed that the packaging has the information (the one with various languages, serial number, etc.) printed on a sticker instead of being printed directly on the packaging, as it was when my iPhone came from the Apple website. The print is exactly the same as the one on my iPhone packaging (except for the numbers, obviously).

Is it normal for it to be printed on a sticker?

Yes, that can be absolutely normal - especially when the iPhone is sold through big retailers rather than directly from Apple. Some batches come with the regulatory and serial-number panel printed on a high-quality sticker instead of directly on the box, and Apple allows authorized retailers to use this type of packaging.

As long as the seal was intact and the serial number matches the device when you turn it on, you’re totally safe.
